Brief live updates will follow from the Victoria Casino on this thread from 2.30pm.  Pictures will be added after the event.  Good luck to all competitors.

At stake to the winner is the title of APAT OnLive Champion, Cup, Gold Medal, $3,500 and an expenses paid entry to the main event of the World Series of Poker.

There is also the little matter of the Season One Rankings to be decided.  Should Kevin Shutt finish fifth or better today, he will win that title and an expenses paid entry to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure event in the Bahamas.

Play has started and the players have agreed to roll back the blinds to 3000 - 6000,
Giving the short stack 20 big blinds and the chip leader 70 big blinds.  With 60 minute levels, we are looking forward to a great final.

First big hand:

Chipleader Martin raises to 20k pre flop and Jack reraises to 60k.  Called.

The money eventually went in on a 5 5 9 flop.  Jack doubles up when his queens hold against Martin"s tens.  350k pot.

Craig takes a 130k pot with trip 5s on a very scary board, calling Kevin"s 40k bluff at the pot.  Kevin now down to 120k.

Charles raises to 18k in early position, called by Micky.  Flop Ace Queen King rainbow.  Micky raises 40k but drops to Charlie"s all in check raise.

Well done to the players ,especially the leaders, for agreeing to a roll-back of the blinds. Very magnanimous, and in keeping with the APAT spirit.

Can you pass on good luck to Technolog please from EMSers (although he"s on that many forums I"m not sure which one he swears allegiance to!  :))
