APAT Announce Season Six And William Hill English Amateur Poker Championship
The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) today announced details for the sixth season of its highly acclaimed national tour for non-professional players and a partnership with William Hill Online, for the opening leg of the tour.
The opening weekend of season six will feature the two day William Hill English Amateur Poker Championship, with a capacity for 200 players, which will take place at the G Casino in Coventry over Easter Weekend; April 7th & 8th. Satellites will be available from 8pm on Monday February 27th, exclusively at William Hill Online.

Monday February 27th – 8pm – £20 + £2
Tuesday February 28th – 8pm – £10 +£1
Wednesday February 29th – 8pm – £5 + 50p Rebuy
Thursday March 1st – 8pm – £75 + £7.50 Direct Buy In
Players will be unable to buy into the event via the G Casino Coventry and should utilise an ‘apatpoker’ bonus code when opening a William Hill Online account, for a 200% first deposit bonus of up to £1,250.
Across season six, APAT announced a total of eight live festival weekends, while new initiatives include the introduction of a series of side events called the Mixed Game Championship, a Cash Tour and the European Championship Of Amateur Poker; a 4 day festival which will take place at Dusk Till Dawn in late August. The hugely successful World Championship Of Amateur Poker will now take place at the end of the season.
