I have now been informed that all players must have Photo ID for the casino.

Accepted....but apparently at odds with their stated policy.

The casino is open daily from 10am to 6am. We operate an open-door policy for customers 18 years and over (you will be asked for ID if you look under 21). Entry to the casino is free. You don"t have to be a member to come in but we do offer a Player Rewards loyalty programme where you can earn more return on your play than with any other casino group.

Perhaps they ask for ID if you are a "player" rather than just a "visitor".

There is no point in further confusing players.  If Richard has been advised that ID is required by the venue, players should bring some to avoid the possibility of their not been let in.

Hi

Not to question what"s been put but when down there Friday night, I spoke to the Card Room manager who told me it"s 140 capacity, 10 tables of 10 and that the car park has signs up saying it"s only for 4 hours.  However, he himself leaves his car there on 10 hour shifts and to our knowledge it"s not monitored. Wanted to clear that up so should people get tickets, people have actually been made aware.  Personally, I"m still highly likely to be leaving my car there !!!!

was also hoping to drive - the briefing says free muti storey car park opposite the casino - anyone know if this is 24 hour parking?  The casino also states their cark park is free but there is a valet service and apparantly you have to leave your car keys with reception (!)  I seem to remember something on the forum where MinTrav had problems parking there before......if anyone has parked at/near the casino recently I"d be grateful for any further information.  Thanks.
Baldrick, we're in a very sticky situation, we're in the stickiest situation since stickty the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun

It looks like I might be running late on Saturday (even though I live in Brighton - a long story!). Is it OK to turn up at 3.30pm and take my seat, with fewer chips, obviously.
