Glenn Laming is in for his tournament life pre flop and being stared down by chipleader Steve Jay.

Jay calls and shows pocket Threes.

Laming turns over pocket Queens.

The flop  Jh 10h 6c

Turn  7h

River  3h boom!

Jay looks jubilant and Laming starts the backward motion in his chair, preparing to rise.

The dealer is about to push the chips to Jay until the players notice the 4 hearts.  Laming has a fifth.  Jay doesn"t.

Glenn Laming doubles up to around 15k.

Debbie Kimm all in, re-shove all in from next position, another lady

The lady has  As Ks

Kimm  Qd Qh

Kimm does the fatal thing. She stands up pre-flop

Flop  9d 10d Kd

Kimm looks for her handbag

Diamonds are forever....

turn  8h

Diamonds are forever

Or perhaps not

river  7h

Kimm has about 2x bb left

She is sitting down again though

Darren Shallis is out

He raised with J-10 suited, was 3-bet, and called

K-Q-x flop

Darren c-raised all in with the OESD and was called, in a moment of genius (I think) by A-J, which held when Darren"s draw missed

Joe-Carr-Hill is out. Short-stacked, found QQ, got a call from Jacks. Jack on the flop

Grant Speirs is just out, his pocket Kings no good against Ace Ten off, which hit two pair on the flop and finally his pocket Jacks, falling behind a turned Ace when all in for his last few chips.
