Well done Des & team.

It"s good to be back on Pokerstars.  It states on the release that games will be played over 15 consecutive weeks. Is this right?   If so, wont this clash with APAT Live National events?   Pokerstars mobile app FTW i suppose?

Thanks Darren.  Yes, it will clash with some live events, but that will only impact the players who make day two and as you said, PokerStars Mobile for the win in all other cases :)

Interesting that you chose the 9 official regions of England plus Wales, Scotland and Ireland EXCEPT that you have London & The Home Counties, rather than just Greater London. The Home Counties are officially in the South East. Greater London is already the 2nd most populated region (1st being the South East). Pinching a big chunk of the South East and adding it to London just makes it massive!
Intrigued to know why you did that?

This is great news for numerous reasons:

1. My "bankroll" is with PokerStars

2. I"m usually playing on PokerStars every Sunday anyway

3. Lots of chips and nice long blind levels means I can grind these out whilst winning the Sunday Storm EVERY weekend!

Well, two out of three isn"t bad.  8)

The only downside is North Norfolk always gets left out! I"ll probably be playing in a team of ONE!!  :P

Mmmmmm. Some of the old "Luton" players played for Luton cos there was no team in their area. Now there is one, which will have a below-average player volume to choose from anyway, and which apparently is to be disadvantaged further by a lot of their experienced players playing for a different region which has a better chance of winning, on the pretext that they can"t bear to be parted from their old team-mates.  If the "Luton" players are all allowed to stay together, I wouldn"t put any money on East of England challenging in the league.

APAT was preferring to take a softer line on this issue; leaving the decision with the individuals, as we are talking about a relatively small number of players. That said, if members feel it is significant then APAT will make a ruling.

what will happen with the prizes if you win an individual prize and a team prize. for example can you win 2 prizes? or will it drop down to the next person like last year?

Shame, i beleive if you"re good enough to win 2 then so be it. But your rules and i can appreciate why you do it that way. ;)

Wanna thank you guys (as im sure everyone else does) for bringing us mere mortals such a great league with such great prizes. Looking forward to hearing the live tour details more now. lol

It's only a gambling problem if you are losing :D
