Back to Blackpool again then.
Just a thought, they say that Blackpool Tower is based on the Eiffel Tower. Paris maybe?

I think it"s definitely the Karibbean. Will be disappointed now if it isn"t.

Would I be correct in thinking that APAT events are always at Grosvenor casino"s...... if so its a shame that the dusk till dawn club can"t be used...... now that would be awesome.

DTD will be used as a venue.  Part of the agreement that Des forged with Rank (BlueSQ & Grosvenor) is that other venues such as DTD can be used for National events.

DTD isn"t ready to be used yet, as they haven"t got enough dealers (although the numbers are constantly growing).  When they do, yes it will be an amazing APAT venue.

DTD will also be used as a venue for Regionals as well.  Again, the delay is due to the number of dealers.  DTD will not run ANY events that aren"t 100% dealer-dealt.

Des will be able to confirm when the regionals at DTD will begin.

To be honest if i had to bet, i would bet that the european national will be at DTD.

I think you"ll find that theyre not far of ready to host a tournament of this size.

Theyre now up to 15 tournament tables for the main event and have started to open on wednesdays aswell. Theyre training up new dealers all the time, a couple of my mates are starting there.

If its outside the UK its goin to be a struggle to get 200 of us flights and accomodation at a sensible price now.

Des was obviously confused by the amount of Gun Krime, Krack Dealing and Kang Warfare that goes of in Nottingham.

Oh man! My chips are on fire!

I would have loved to see the European at DTD, Stuart. But, I can be pretty sure that it wont be because of the dealer situation.

As you can appreciate, these events are a long time in the planning, and Des and the team would need to know that everything is in place at the time of that planning. With the dealer situation as it is, or has been, I think it"s a pretty safe bet that DTD would not be considered this time.

Be good to see it included for season 3 though......
