Previous hand Linzi is KK v 66 (all-in).  KK obviously wins.

Next hand, I have KK, two callers.  Flop AA6.  3K in the pot, I have less than that back, and shove after two checks.  I was right, neither had and ace.  No, one had 66....

I love poker!  Back to the cash games.

AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGG bubbled, i hate it - 4th tourney got a 2nd and 4th then my last two 1foggy has done me. 1st time was a lucky outdraw - but this time i had  kc qs against  ah kh, short stacked had to push. Well I played appallingly for the first hour so was delighted to make the final table, bucked up my ideas later on and a little unlucky to go out in fourth but bigparka was untouchable tonight, the poker gods were indeed smiling on him but he played well too.

What can I say? When I had my first double up from 3000 to 7000 when my A5 beat an AJ I said to the table that you need 4 pieces of luck to win a tournament, and what do you know I did get another 3 pieces of luck, although the final table will probably say I got more than than that!!

I was pretty pleased with my play overall, and I think I chose my times to make a play well. I was also happy with the defence of my blinds. I didn"t check raise once nor did I need to re-raise to get a better hand off the pot.

I am grateful to APAT for giving me the opportunity to learn more about the game, and winning 4 gold medals along the way is not too bad either!!
