Just a comment on the state of tne playing chips at cardiff in a word awful
Des could the APAT not supply their own chips i know that a cost will be the problem. How much would 3 million chips cost?get APAT printed on them and
maybe the members would chip in(pardon the punn)I can"t talk for all the members
but i would send a cheque between 2-5 pounds.Any chance of looking into it?
This is just a ask and not a complaint.Let me know where to send monies to

Thank you
Its better to be lucky than good(And i'm neither)

I never trie of having chips- no matetr what state they"re in. If I was in Cardiff I"d have gladly taken those chips off you hands (and then donked them off to someone else with a 9 high flush)

I have mentioned this in the past on another thread. (maybe someone with more brains then me could add a link). I think it"s something Apat are thinking about for the future.

Good shout indeed!
I dont see that the cost would in fact be that big a deal.
Think how much better they would look in the media coverage too.

The weight and difficulty of carrying them around might be though.

Yes, the issue here is more about the logistics of moving them around and the security issues of players taking the "odd" one as a momento.  Season Three planning is underway at the moment and this is one of the smaller items on the agenda.

Im sure if you did a line of merchanidiesed chips/cardguards people would buy one of their own. This could make a contribution to the total cost.

For obvious reasons the merchandised chips would have to be of a different design to the chips used in tournaments.

Like the idea of APAT chips to buy though, I don"t mind quality checking any new line.......  ;)
