Hi Team Europe,

there will be some very important changes for the upcoming matchday 2.

NEW: Starting stack 4k chips - Blind Level 12 minutes

There was a great support of 25 players last week and in total there are 30 players who joined our team.
Sadly some of you quit their playing  and this forum after the very late finishing time of last matchday.
I agree your decision and thanks a lot for support. Also I have to accept your arguments that APAT's online league should be fun and not a personal strain. Maybe some of you"ll change their decisions after this news.
Finsihing time will be much earlier than last week now!

After last matchday there were discussions about the structure and finishing time on captain"s board. Guess it"s still not the optimum for our time zone but definitely a positive decision. Thanks too to all the captains who considered a bit for our team interests. Appreciate !

what a pity, I really liked the structure, and am not a big friend of the new one

I more wonder, why not putting games which go long on a Saturday

Agree Starshine, saturday would be an alternate but there were also discussions and critical words.
I"m also a big fan of deep structures but APAT as a community have to allow different opinions and at last
you"ll never have a solution for 100%. I"m sure most of APAT"ers prefer a playable structure with a finishing time between 1-2a.m or earlier. UKtime. It"s not my favour time but the new structure will be much better than 5K/15min and we have to try. We will see what happens next 2-3 matchdays and at last is there a future for our team. To have a non-competitive team make no sense. In this case we have to discuss again I guess.

just out of interest, isn"t a finishing time normally influenced by starting time  

and I just assume here, that out of all those over 500 players who played last sunday at least half of them plays other games as well, which start earlier than we did, so they would be available earlier

Guess the new structure worked out. Possi finished 9th place at 0:40 MEZ and tournament at 1:45 MEZ. (454 players matchday2 / 547 matchday 1!) Thanks for support to all players and congrat again to Possi for a very well played matchday 2.
