Hi Guys,

Quick question. Looking at playing the rest of the tour. Is registration only through WH Client? and when does this open. What is the process once reg"d. Do we automatically appear in the list when we arrive at the casino on day 1??

Cheers

Ray

Hi Ray,

William Hill are partnering APAT for this event but we are not planning to utilise them for our next event.

The live event schedule can be found here and we will announce complete details of the next event when we complete the Welsh leg later this month.

http://www.apat.com/index.php/live-schedule/

You will appear on the official player list once you"ve either qualified or bought in and that is published here on the APAT site along with the player briefing, about a week prior to the event taking place.

Cheers,

Des.

Great News,

The client currently shows a lobby for 82.50 starting at 1am. What is this for, is this a holding tank for satty qualifiers? Does the lobby appear and open sometime tomorow for the direct buy in?

Cheers

I"ve just played tonights satellite to the Welsh Amateur Championships on William Hill. I was winning the satellite when the 5th player was eliminated and as 4 seats were awarded I continued to go all in until I was knocked out in 4th. Instead of being awarded a seat, I was credited with £31.25. I don"t understand this at all. There were 36 players in the qualifier giving a prize fund of £360 which equates to 4 seats plus some prize money.
I also played the same qualifier last night and although I did not qualify, I finished in the prize money and that has not been credited to my account. I"m not a happy bunny with William Hill at the moment.     i"m on the phone to them now and have been on hold for nearly 20 minutes. I will update the forum if a resolution has been found.

Yes please Vaino - if you don"t get resolution and need me to step in, just say so.

Regards,

Des.

This also happened on the first nights qualifier as well.  We got done to the final four (The payout structure said that there was a seat for pos 1- 4) and the game didn"t end so we all pushed all in.  I noticed that after the match ended the results said 3 players had won a seat and position 4 had a cash prize.
I was the chip leader at that point so I got a seat, but concerned fourth place didn"t
Screenshot attached

Extra info:  Looks like the payout strucuture on the left included the Late Reg (36 players) but the final payout was based on the original 30 players (hence the £300 of payout)

I"m not playing the satellites because William Hill are a waste of space and have a useless CS department. They aren"t getting another dime of my money other than as a conduit for live buy-ins.

Glad I didn"t play after seeing the above. How much more spectacularly can they screw-up a simple rebuy satellite? Then to make people hang on the phone for hours while WH try to comprehend a simple mistake is ridiculous.

On THE TOURNY INFO PAGE IT SAYS LATE REG UNTILL LEVEL 5 BUT WHEN YOU GO TO IT SAYS REG CLOSED . WHAT IS GOING ON?

If you are talking about tonight"s sat, then it sounds to me like their software has screwed it up. Late registration was briefed for this event.

Late reg was briefed yes.

Since posting the question I have found this being discussed on another thread... it would appear that there is no late reg.

Good job really, probably saved me £20-£30.

Late reg was briefed and agreed on by WH, and was showing in the lobby, so I have no idea why it hasn"t worked.  Apologies for any inconvenience caused and I shall be taking this up with them in the morning.

This is ridiculous - I will be asking for my money back if this continues. All other internet is working fine - just this joke client.
