Major interest is to be expected on the night, especially with the UK being guaranteed a place in the final, along with Azerbaijan, France, Germany, Italy & Spain.

The other countries will play off in two semi-finals:

Semi-Final 1:
01    Montenegro
02    Iceland
03    Greece
04    Latvia
05    Albania
06    Romania
07    Switzerland
08    Belgium
09    Finland
10    Israel
11    San Marino
12    Cyprus
13    Denmark
14    Russia
15    Hungary
16    Austria
17    Moldova
18    Ireland

Semi-Final 2:
01    Serbia
02    Macedonia
03    Netherlands
04    Malta
05    Belarus
06    Portugal
07    Ukraine
08    Bulgaria
09    Slovenia
10    Croatia
11    Sweden
12    Georgia
13    Turkey
14    Estonia
15    Slovakia
16    Norway
17    Bosnia and Herzegovina
18    Lithuania

Azerbaijan, Italy & Spain will vote in SF1. UK, France & Germany will vote in SF2.

Previous participants Andorra, Armenia, Czech Republic, Poland and er....Morocco will not be taking part. Nor will previous winners Monaco and 5-time winners Luxembourg. Liechtenstein was rumoured to be entering for the first time, but didn"t.

Of the 42 songs, 24 are in English, the lingua franca of pop music - UK, Azerbaijan, Germany, Montenegro, Iceland, Greece, Latvia, Switzerland, Belgium, San Marino, Cyprus, Denmark, Hungary, Moldova, Ireland, Netherlands, Malta, Belarus, Ukraine, Sweden, Turkey, Slovakia, Norway & Lithuania.

Albania, Serbia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Estonia, Bosnia & Spain will sing in their own language.

The songs from Israel, Russia, Macedonia, Georgia, Italy and quelle fromage....France! are partly in their own language and partly in English.

The Finnish song is in Swedish and the Austrian one is in German, even though the Swedish & German songs are both in English. The Romanian song is in English & Spanish (eh?).

The Montenegrin song contains some Montenegrin & German phrases and the Albanian one, some Italian. The Bulgarian song includes sentences in Arabic, Azerbaijani, English, French, Greek, Italian, Romani, Serbo-Croatian, Spanish and Turkish. That should help with the voting.

I"m looking forward to the live performance of the Austrian song Woki Mit Deim Popo [Translation - Shake Your Ass]:

Bit of a faux-pas on the scheduling front, APAT. Do you realise that this tournament clashes with the Eurovision Song Contest or did you forget to check? Could you confirm whether there are televisions viewable from the playing area? I"d hate to cancel but clearly this could have been avoided if it was checked in advance.

No televisions will be showing the Eurovision Song Contest

Sorry you can"t attend.

FWIW I bubbled the seats in the now infamous rebuy and I"m reasonably sure I got the ££ I was expecting. Is there any way I can check? (for the sake of clarity, I"m not overly bothered)

Log in to your WH account. Click on "My Account" (top left of screen), click on "Tournament History" (list on the left). This will default to the history of the last 7 days, but you can select a different period if you have/want to.

You should be bothered. Even 1p "not paid out" to lots of players adds up and it"s not right. There was a banking scam back in the eighties where a guy nicked 1p from loads of accounts and it added up to a lot of £££. I don"t remember all the details but that was the gist. You wouldn"t be bothered about the loss of 1p but is it right?

I"m sure WH aren"t doing it on purpose, but once it"s pointed out to them they should be on it quick and sort it. Pay out even the people that haven"t noticed, not just the ones that complain. Perhaps with some sort of compensation. However, they appear not to give a toss.

I won a "seat" and ended up being paid the entry fee rather than being auto entered as expected.  I have since registered, which left my account balance at Zero, although I have noticed that I now have 1p in my account, so anyone missing it please let me know!  :D

My problem with William Hill is still not resolved after 2 weeks of complaining.  I"m beginning to think its me and I"m not explaining it properly. So I"ve enclosed recent e mails between myself and William Hill to see what others think. I"ve since re-sent  Mike Slees screenshot. Thanks for that Mike.

Dear Vaino,

This is Zaila from the Support Team.

We have received your email, however we are unable to locate any screenshot on it. Please resend your screenshot as a form of attachment in your email so we can further check. Anyway, this has already been forwarded to the Poker Specialist for proper handling. You will be contacted for any updates.

Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Zaila

Dear Charlotte

Above is a screenshot of the final standings of the first satellite on the 30th April. You will please note that the prize info on the left, clearly states the prize that should of been received. 36 entries totalling £360. On the right the final positions show what was actually paid out. 3 seats worth(£82.50) each plus some prize money totalling £300.
As i have already pointed out on several occasions, for some reason William Hill have paid out according to the inital
entries of the tournament (ie 30). So what is happening to the extra £60? It must be somewhere!!! The second satellite on the 1st May, exactly the same thing happened 30 initial entries plus 6 late entries. The lobby again showed the correct prize money under the prize info and paid out incorrectly as in the final standings.
Please rectify this matter as a matter of some urgency.
Kind Regards
Vaino

Subject: Re: Your William Hill Poker Account [Incident: 120510-002799]

Dear Vaino,

I am Charlote from William Hill Poker Support Team.

We are writing to you with regards to your concern about the APAT tournament. As we checked, you were on 4th place on APAT Welsh Amateur Satellite (651447421). However, the tournament prize pool collected from the players who registered on the tournament can only cover 3 seats guaranteed on APAT Welsh Amateur Champ (651014941), the remaining funds from the prize pool were split between 4th to 6th places. This is the reason why you were credited £31.25 instead of a seat.

On the other hand, for tournament APAT Welsh Amateur Satellite (651431411) where you finished 7th place, we forwarded it to our Poker Management for checking. As soon as we have an update, we will e-mail you.

We kindly ask for your patience on this matter.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Charlote Lockwood
William Hill Poker Support Team

Dear Emily
I am registered for the APAT Welsh Amateur Champs, because I paid into it directly from my account. I did so because it has limited numbers and I did not want to miss the event.
The problem still remains that on the 30th April I finished 7th in the satellite and should of been credited with £6, when no money was paid into my account On the 1st May I finished 4th and should of been awarded a seat worth £82.50, instead my account was credited with £31.25.
I am at a loss why
William Hill Poker Division cant see that the prize money awarded in these satellites was only the initial entry fees and that the remaining entry fee monies collected after the official start times, was for some reason not paid out. It is simple mathematics.
I hope this matter can be rectified soon.
Kind regards
Vaino Tiik

Dear Vaino,

Thank you for your time.
