Received an email from WH this morning saying "our Poker Specialists have identified the issue and will be making adjustments for the affected players", so I send a reply asking them to clarify the new payout structure and it turns out it"s the same as the original one before the late entries. I then send another email asking about the late entry money and I get one back saying they don"t know what tournament I"m talking about.

Des, did you make any headway with them?

I had a similar e mail from them confirming that they had made the right payments. I responded by telling them that I didn"t agree with the decision and was considering referring it to Independant Betting adjudication Service.
They then replied stating their Poker Management team had made their decision and would not be changing it and that if I continued to E mail them, they would block my E mails.

I can only apologise on behalf of APAT for the issues that some members are continuing to have.

I continue to chase with my contact, who is providing all of my correspondence to Israel.

If there isn"t some form of resolution before close tomorrow then I will be forced to lay down an ultimatum.

Please advise if you receive any further communications from William Hill.

May actually be getting somewhere, they have finally acknowledged the incorrect payouts re the late entries.
Email received tonight:

Dear Mr Carter,

My name is Prince Boeck and I am the Customer Support Manager of William Hill Poker.

Your concern has been escalated to me by the Support Team and I can confirm that there was a technical issue with the payout structure for the tournament "APAT Welsh Amateur Champ" (Tournament code 651447421) - the prizepool did not correctly payout with the inclusion of late registration buy ins.

This is issue is currently being coordinated with iPoker for the proper amendments to be made. Furthermore I am personally chasing it up with them to see it through to the end with a proper resolution.

You can be assured that an update will be sent to you once it is forthcoming and at this time I kindly ask that you extend us your patience as we await for a response from the relevant network specialists.

With kind regards,

Prince Boeck

I have also received an E mail from them this morning:

Subject: Re: Your William Hill Poker Account

Dear Vaino,

This is Seth from the Support Team.

This is a formal response with regards to your concern about the APAT Welsh Amateur Satellite.

We would like to inform you that the issue with this tournament has been rectified and rest assured that this will no longer happen in the future.

We also appreciate for bringing this issue to our attention, and for that, a Gesture of Goodwill for £10 that will reflect on your account shortly.

Again, we do apologize and may you have a great day ahead.

Best Regards,

Seth
William Hill Poker Support Team

The only problem being that the missing monies still haven"t been paid into my account although the Gesture of Goodwill of £10 has been.

I"ve also attached yesterdays e mails:

Subject: RE: Your William Hill Poker Account

Dear Vaino,

This is Camille from the Support Team.

We are writing in relation to your issue on the APAT Welsh Amateur Satellite (651447421).

We believe that this was already dealt by our Poker Room Management. Our stance will not be changing even should you attempt to email us continually.

Should you take this choice as we have advised you before we will have no further option than to prevent your emails being received by us as this is impacting on our ability to service genuine queries from our customers. We would ask finally that you cease from these continual mails as the response will not alter.

Thank you for understanding.

Best Regards,
Camille

Dear Christine
I can not accept your findings as being correct on either of the two incidents I have reported.
Therefore I am going to forward my complaint to the Independant Betting Adjudication Service. Kind Regards Vaino From: poker@willhill.com

Folks.

The last 16 pages have been primarily devoted to the (not undeserved) issue regarding WH customer service and satellites etc.

For that reason, and since we already have an "official" thread, I"m renaming this and moving it to the WH board.

Please continue this over there.

Ta,

Paulie.

I was looking forward to playing in tonight"s Welsh Online Championship, but as I have still not been paid by William Hill for my 3rd place finish in an earlier satellite I"m not playing. I"m still trying to get the matter resolved, but it looks as if I"m already on the "do not reply" list after just 3 emails. I"ve tried sending another today, but until it"s sorted I"ll not be playing on their site.

Good luck to all who play tonight and see some of you in Cardiff next week.

Wow, not a happy thread and i can see why.

I have had a very much worse experience recently with a large compnany. After  all of the complaining in the world, firstly [polite to more serious] onto threatening to take my business elsewhere. I eventually ended up coming back to (B.T.) as the company that i was giving my new business to(Sky B/Band n phone), gave me three different quotes and could not confirm to me just what i would be paying a month. They hung up on me twice, even though i was new business as my mac code suggested i was now a customer with an account number. Is this really how we are to live our lives.

There has got to be a position here(market) for a site with.......proper and unbiased opinions who to steer clear of. Should the masses get involved, we could see the likes of(remember the old emails) ie don"t use Texaco for petrol until they reduce prices dramatically. Then don"t use Mobil etc...........until we decide what to pay for fuel.

Unfortunately this won"t count in this instance until everybody stops playing on W.H. This would be hard to enforce as, e.g. i do not have probs at the moment, and it is very hard to have people follow you because of your unfortunate experience when it does not affect them. The same company as i mention above(Sky) have given lifetime freebies to a member of my family for letting them down. I will not go there though, for they could not sort out a new account and i felt that the future did not bode very well for me. Therfore i stuck with the devil i know, not great business sense, but what are you gonna do, huh?

Received a reply from WH 19/05/12 saying they were looking into my £6.60 non payment. No further news up to today so I sent a reminder email. I then logged onto my WH account (not to play I might add) and found I"d been credited with an £11 "bonus" on 22/05. I presume this is the resolution of my case, but strange they didn"t email me if that"s the case.

P.S. Only 2 sleeps to go "til Cardiff  ;D

I too have had 3 more E mails from William hill, first from Camille, basically the same as her earlier one threatening to block my E mails. Then one from Luke, stating the problem has been resolved and that I have been credited with a live event ticket. The problem is I can"t see the ticket on my account and that I have already paid in to the Welsh Open.
A third one from from Rishe crediting my account with £13.20 for the earlier satellite I believe I should of been paid £6.
I"m sure this topic will be further well discussed in Cardiff. Looking forward to meeting up with some old friends and making new aquaintances. Good luck to all in the event.
