Bit gutted.

Finished on the bubble in last nights tournament. 3 hours of relatively good play and my reward is to get my money back! So close, yet so far! Hopefully will have some better luck next week!

Sats every day to Sunday final at i think 19.15, Sunday final 15 euro @ 18.30..

Also a super sat 5 Euro rebuy at 20.15 every wednesday.. Good luck..

I read on some Forum that the think that this festival may be sold out by Middle to the end of Feb...

Back by popular demand the Virgin Poker Festival heads to the Aspers Casino in Newcastle. Virgin are planning a fun filled poker weekend designed to appeal to live poker newbies as well as experienced players. Virgin are able to guarantee:

£105 two day, deep stack main event.
£5,000 added to prize pool.
£1000 of value added bounties.
Bad beat prize of return flight to Vegas
Two added value, low stakes side events.
Wii Bowling, bar promos and heads up challenges

How?
There will be no direct buy-ins. All players must qualify online.
There are 3 standard ways to qualify

Festival Weekly (€15 + 1.50) every Sunday evening at 6.30pm (GMT). The first runs 19th Jan.
Festival Super Rebuy (€5 + €0.50) every Thursday evening at 8.15pm (GMT)
Festival Satellite (to Festival Weekly) (€1.65 + €.15) every day at 7.30 (GMT)

OK.....You can only register on 3 boss media sites from 1 pc..... however you can have as many boss media accounts as you like if you register elsewhere.

I have 12 accounts on various boss media sites and im sure ill have plenty more.

So those of you who cannot register because of the 3 registrations per pc rule, get over to a mates house/diff pc, download and sign up, then log in....once your logged in, you can then log out and log in on any pc you want.

I qualified about 2 weeks ago and received an email a few days later which said, "You will receive full information about the event in the next couple of weeks."  

You"re asked to send them confirmation of attendance, mobile phone number where you can be contacted and additional email addresses you have (if any). 

I"ve still not received the "full information" they"re on about, but I"d imagine it"ll be out soon enough.

Missed out by 2 places yesterday.  9 qualified came 11th.  Oh well try again next week.

Hi, managed to qualify from last nights freezeout.  The 3rd attempt. (user name - nabucco).

Does anyone know if other poker events are held as part of festival that you can buy into when your there.   In case I get knocked out early or if friends come along who aren"t in main event.

Can"t make the APAT euro so this makes up for it. Look forward to seeing familiar faces in Newcastle.
