DRESS CODE[/b]

Clean and tidy dress is strongly recommended.  The dress code is smart casual. No football tops and no hoodies on the gaming floor, but jeans are fine.

Does the gaming floor include the poker table? If no hoodies are allowed, how do they feel about caps?

This will mean i really have to show my face when bluffing (cough, cough, value betting)  ::)

Looks like they are all sold out anyway.

In which case, I"ll cab it.

I have just confirmed with the venue (famous last words). park across the road any time after 11.30am, move it back in the evening. No charge, tickets will be validated at casino reception.

Anybody can ring reception before Saturday if you need that confirming

I know this is contradicting to what has already been said but just phoned the De Vere about car parking and was told to park in car park D (which is the one outside the casino, I think) in the red area and there is no time limit.

I presume this is just for people who are stopping in the hotel

But I'm still going to get there early just in case.

no time limit, except if you aren"t in it you can"t get in after 11.30pm on a matchday

So to clarify, if I turn up to the car park across the dual carriage way at 1:30pm I can park there for free?

After 6:30 during a tournament break, I can move my car to the casino car park?

Is that right?

that is my understanding, yes.

As there appears to be a different story or two depending who you speak to, if you get given a ticket it can be validated by casino reception, I am told

Went to a gig at the Ricoh last year, and the parking was farcical.

Nice little walk from the overspill car park as well, and getting out at the end was a farce. I"d guess it"ll be OK tomorrow, unless you"re thinking of going anywhere in your car at the same time the footy finishes.

Which will probably be the time get knocked out, so thank Des for the cash game thingy.

I"ve postponed the cash table for a few reasons, including a shortage of resource to report on it. We"ll see it back when we can do it more justice.

For what it"s worth, they are letting you park outside the casino in the car park that"s there, I"m about 30 feet from the door!! So not even parking over the bridge
