A Poker trip to the Algarve
« on: April 13, 2012, 16:41:07 PM »
For those that may have missed this yesterday, there is a trip to the Algarve in Portugal booked from 8th-13th November to play in a Portuguese Poker Tour Event in Vilamoura. The buy in is 110 euro for 10k and 30 min clock over the 10th and 11th, sorta APAT stylee. It is envisaged that merriment and laughter will accompany us, along with drunken frolicking.

A large villa has been booked and flights have been organised by 6 of us at present, but there is room for more. All in cost, excluding food and drink, is from £310 - £360 for 5 nights, but you can come for as many nights as you wish. This includes, poker, flights accommodation and transfer.

Let me know if you are interested as the price of flights is going up daily it seems.

A couple of links for info.

This is totally awesome...how much, you ask, so much that I"m actually planning on delaying Vegas for it...that"s how much.

Now, can I actually afford it?

Richard...I understand that there may be the possibility of adding an extra villa if need be?

Yes, we can book whatever accommodation we need to suit. Prices vary, but it should be fairly competative.

Spoke to Matty the Stockton Rock about this the other day..... interested but probably need to make a call later on in the year, disappointed no foreign shores "adventure" was on the APAT schedule this year, so this gets a big thumbs up from me. Would double look forward to it if the Portugal team were getting involved as well, miss those guys.

We can book additional accommodation as required, but remember that flights go up the longer you leave it. Numbers will dictate how competative another villa will be, but at the moment the are 2 twin rooms available at £100 per room for upto 5 days in the big villa. First come first served.

Still interested, Vegas aside, but working on factoring in the time off and/or cost.

Worst case, i may just book a separate (smaller) apartment with 1 or 2 bedrooms depending on requirements from others ITT.

BTW, Rich...do you have an address for the villa in case I/we"d like to be relatively close?

Google Maps is my friend.
