Matchday 14 - The Penultimate Lap
« on: June 05, 2012, 18:39:09 PM »
I"ll start off with a massive well done to all of you. The team stepped up and steam rolled on Sunday to take us 4 points clear at the top. Was it ever in doubt? Not in my mind ;)

That said nothing has been won yet, with 2 games to go we know the Wales team are more than capable of putting up a good fight. But as long as Team Scotland go out, as we always do, to enjoy the tournament, have fun and play our A games then theres always the chance we could have the league locked up with 1 game to go.

We all love the sound of that so have fun and show how we roll ;)

You lead from the front mate and rallied the troops. One more performance like this and the title will be brought home to a roar of "FREEDOM". Get it right up the rest of them, lol

Yip. Let"s kick on from here guys.

Also maybe try and get more of the guys on here as there is definitely more traffic on the Facebook page than on here. Which is great for all the guys already on Scotland Facebook page but for someone looking in from the outside they might not pick up on the team spirit and chaos we have every Sunday night on that thread.

Excellent performance from Scotland at the weekend. Lets try our best to finish the Welsh off on Sunday.

I like the sound of champagne and Irn Bru. :-)

Just a moot point when I busted Louis with quad 4s.  I had Honeybadg tagged as Welsh instead of Scottish otherwise I would never have called with 44 there.  It won"t make Louis feel any better but I"ll properly tag him next time and thankfully didn"t result in the team losing points.  Another good team effort on Sunday and we"re there :)

This is funny ... in the end of the day I was surprised at the call but would have wanted it ... had the AA stood up then tripled and totally in play ...

So far in the league I have lost with AA, KK and QQ to underpairs all in pre flop ... and twice against Scots ... all close to or in the money/points ...

Earlier I put down AQ to Geo who re-raised me all in with us both on 25 BB - it"s pretty debatable whether I should call there or not - with one of us marching forward with 50BB.

It all worked out well ... still amazed it was Scotland 5 Wales 0 on the night ... at the time I was hoping we could nick a point extra against them.

Great play all season from the team ... looking forward to it tonight ...
