REQUEST - Genting Edinburgh [26 July 2012] [SOLD]
« on: June 16, 2012, 15:19:37 PM »
Hi All,

**********SOLD OUT**********
Hope this appeals to some as very good valuable opportunity.
My name is David Blacklaw -(ForthThistle)  Long time poster on APAT and can have a few vouch for me if required.
Been playing poker for around 6 years but never anything bigger than the usual £50 local casino with the odd shot at a bigger buy in. Any shots i have taken have been 50% fruitful with my first stake on Blonde poker http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=55111.0 got my backor George2Loose on APAT as well a 812% return on his money. We also made day 2 of the UKIPT Edinburgh finishing a credible 70th after losing a flip for 70% of my Stack. (After winning a seat at the Live Sat).  Have been playing the APAT tour and had a couple of decent scores.

Represented Blonde in the recent APAT Team Championships.
Finished 5th in APAT Scotland Champions in Aberdeen.
Helped Blonde with the updates at GUKPT Blackpool.
Played the SPT in Glasgow last year and finished 15th sigh...
Played the SPT in Glasgow March 2012 and finished 12th even bigger Sigh.
Inaugural Blonde Monthly Take on Tikay Winner February 2011.

Event 3 is the £35 Deepstack Event with 25K starting chips.
The total cost of Buyins will be £250
Im looking to sell 65% at 1.17
Total Cost £292.50 (rounded to £290.00)
5% = £14.50
10% = £29.00
65% = £188.50

1% of any winning"s will be given back to APAT as per the agreement. This will come from my 35%. (Help me if this is wrong.)

i Play under the alias of 4ththistle on STARS.

Your spelling is awful.
Never split an infinitive.
Verbs should agree with their subjects.
Do not start a sentence with a conjunction.
Never end a sentence with a preposition.
Never end a sentence with a linking verb.
An adverb should always follow the verb.

;D ;D ;D It was fine I would have jumped in if I saw it in time  ::)

I think the request is excellent and is a good format for what these should be. Very clear what you are looking for and backing up the reason why you are a good bet. I believe this proposition is +EV as well and would have bought a piece.

Good Luck with it

PS - I have no idea what Ger said but it sounds really clever and like he knows exactly what he is talking about so I assume it is something to do with beer :-)

Still trying to think of something amusing to write in this bit.

1% of any winning"s will be given back to APAT as per the agreement. This will come from my 35%. (Help me if this is wrong.)

This 1% of the value of the winnings of your backers... so in this case 1% of 65% = 0.65% of gross winnings to be payed to APAT.

From License application rules -
5 ) Applying to become a Licensed Player demonstrates your acceptance to pay APAT a £10 license fee (whether your application proves successful or not) plus an additional 1% commission on the value of any winnings enjoyed by your Stakers.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
