Sad, but FYI....
Over 100 jobs are still at risk at a casino in the South Wales city of Swansea as a consultation on its future continues.
The Aspers casino, which opened in September 2007, is no longer commercially viable, according to the company. The consultation, which began earlier on this year, is looking to close the venue and the company has already said that it will find any workers displaced a job at one of their other venues. A spokesperson told thisisSouthWales: "The future of the business is still under review and we continue to consult with the staff. It is not possible for us to make further comment at this time".
The other Aspers venues are in Newcastle, Northampton and London with another opening in Milton Keynes next year.
