This must be a private joke ;-)  I do not remember convo"s about maids outfits  ??? ???

I do however remember Stu"s "perfect" timing regarding convo"s of a animal nature .... much to the total look of shock and horror on the poor girls face who happened to be walking past at that precise moment  ;)

Had a fantastic weekend up in Glasgow, had a really fun first table where the Guinness maybe flowed a little too much and not eating all day definitely was an error come 4am ish wandering around Glasgow telling the world about my pocket 2"s haha  :D

The Stockton Massive of Gary P, Gary M, Lucy and of course Brian (it was posted up on the updates.. but really you travel 3.5 hours to a foreign land.. and you get sat next to someone you play every Thursday in the pub) were great company as always.. Michelle my estranged twin, Gi-Mac, Curly, Don Roberts (not too long till Portugal fella.. catch up properly then)..  meeting up with Don Logan who I havent seen for nearly a year was great.. or should I say half a Don.. he hasnt half lost some weight, love you all... Then there was hugs a plenty off Grant, Asa (hope you"re feeling better fella), Davey B, Neil, Eck, Shug... too many to mention. Special well done to Rodders with his 3rd place, he"s a top fella and great company over the weekend as well.

Adam, Matt did what I felt was a great job over the weekend, good updates as well reading them back.. and Adam especially keeping me out of trouble on Saturday night  ;)

As for my tourny.. Mr Brightside FTW had a bit of a rollercoaster really got upto 31K whilst on the first table, then ran my AK into K9 which then delivered a flop of K99.. and then my flopped set of 2"s ran into 2/3 off who got there with a rivered straight lol.. I might have banged on about this ALOT over the weekend (apologies to the majority of Glasgow) haha.. but it was all good fun.. got moved tables and played a cracker with 95o against AJ with an Ace on the flop. He nearly folded (well he had a good long think.. long enough to sup another guineess anyway) after my check raise on the turn and then river shove. When I say he nearly folded. He didnt  :-\

Then off into town and the rest is a little blurry but just remember laughing ALOT.. ninja skills to get back into the casino and the bouncers who"d stopped Rodders on Friday night getting in due to his dance routines outside lol and then bed around 5.. and the sorest head of all time the next day.. made worse by the fire alarm going off during a negotiated after noon breakfast at the harvester.

Happy days.

p.s did you know it costs you 35p to stand in a shop in Glasgow?....  ;D

p.p.s Big love to Grant Mushet (the lad with the hair and the 23o) who PM"d me after he"d busted day 2.. with the title "2 3 or not 2 3 that is the question" lol. Git  ;D

Thank Lucy more than me for saturday night! She was the sane one lolololol

Absolutely rolling in the aisles of the train though after reading the above, just awesome. Although  did you REALLY have to call 118118 to tell them about being charged 35p to stand in a shop in Glasgow??

Poker, I will NOT post ANY, not one, bad beat story.

Thus the reason for the title of the blog.

and then my flopped set of 2"s ran into 2/3 off who got there with a rivered straight lol.. I might have banged on about this ALOT over the weekend (apologies to the majority of Glasgow)

"Banged on" might have been the wrong phrase.. lovingly retold to anyone that would listen in a jovial non FML way  :P

At least you didn"t fold quads....

;D ... I couldnt even fold a set this time Dave.. blaming the Guinness and my utter inability to put him with a 3 after the 10k that had been bet up till that point. Sore? Nah...well.. maybe just a little.. it got a giggle at the table.. Mr Brightside for the win... eventually  ;)

I felt that someone in authority needed to know the outrage haha.. to be fair she was most sympathetic whilst obviously wondering what this gibbering drunken fool was going on about  ;D 35p.. to be fair Lucy was right it would of cost me more ringing 118 to complain about than paying the actual 35p in the first place  :D

Well that was outstandingly amazing.

Errrrrm....  :-\ I maybe ducking out of Stoke.... Phil quickly runs and hides......
