Thank you everyone. Times like these that make you realise how fantastic your friends are. Thank you for all the PM"s, texts, emails, FB messages and posts here from you all. You"ve all been fantastic through a very tough time. Thank you. Lilly and Anna have been phenomenal. Can"t tell you how amazing they"ve both been. Couldn"t have got through it without them.

I was very close to my mam, loved her so much.. I"m the youngest of 3 brothers both of whom are much older than me, 8 and 10 years older who both moved away from the area. We had a special bond.

My mams funeral is Wednesday, the whole process made complex by an autopsy due to mams sudden death and also my dad getting rushed into hospital with chest pains (he"s now ok)  :-\ Then theres been the tracing of a family tree so my mam can be buried with her parents initially made impossible due to changes in government policies in the past few years.. I am now the proud owner of a grave so she can be buried there. Something I"d never thought I"d say.

Its been one thing after another but we"re all getting there. Just wanting Wednesday out of the way now.

As you know by now I always look for a brightside. There is ALWAYS a brightside. Been hard to find though all the sadness and tears... but its there. One of my brothers hasnt spoken to any of the other family for 13 years, neither my other brother or my folks (its a very long story). Its only been myself thats kept in contact with him over the years and this past week after phone calls hes travelled up and we"ve all been reunited. Sometimes it takes the most extreme circumstances to bring people back together. My mam I"m sure is up above and smiling x

Much needed cheering up was required this weekend which resulted to a trip to the local amusements. This is where the largest bar of dairy milk was spotted by Anna in one of the machines. It was one pound a go. 14 "goes" later and it was ours. The saying is true. Something won is always better than something bought..

Happy days  :) x

Things that make you feel VERY old.

Your brother celebrates his 50th birthday and at the same time your nephew celebrates his 21st.

Where does the time go? Scary.

On the brightside. Two lots of cake to eat last night. Happy days.

Poker wise its all quiet, havent played on line now for 4 months and live has just been the odd drunken home game since Stoke. I did chop the last home game though at the last Yarm invasion. Looking forward to getting back to normal and at least playing on a weekly basis. Still not feeling the competitive love though at the moment, but looking forward to the soon to be EPIC Yarm Invasion even if I"m just doing the Thursday night.. and then meeting up with everyone at DTD at the worlds.
