OMFG!!!  It"s obvious I likes me food, so surely I"ve half a clue - hand on heart, Parmo is NOT a delicacy!!!  Most vile food item I"ve ever consumed.  And I"ve consumed so pretty horrid stuff in my life.  Parmo.  Delicacy.  Ugh.

Don"t be daft...the Yanks eat Sweetbreads and Rocky Mountain Oysters. If they"ll eat that they"ll eat anything.

I was offered the opportunity of a Parmo....I have more respect for my stomach than that...and I"ve eaten some pretty funky stuff in my past....but that"s another story.

I love my food and I"ll eat anything - off the floor, out of date, if it"s mouldy I"ll cut the green bits off and stuff it down me. I was really looking forward to trying a parmo but I have to say I was totally underwhelmed. It wasn"t horrible or disgusting - no food is - but it was very disappointing and bland. I left more than half of it.

Was one of the first things I made for you when I moved over here.  In fact, I made it a few times.  Considering the work involved in making it and your ability to notice, you"ll be lucky to see it again!  pfffffffffffffffffffft

He"s not playing tonight because he ate that ^^^^^ earlier today and will spend the rest of this night praying to the porcelain gods.  At a guess.

Been working way too hard these past few weeks.. meetings with accountants this week to try and reduce tax bills, but apparently its only google and the likes who can get away with that. Bad times. Been working to keep the forum up and running at full capacity but had some problems this week.. hoping we"re getting to the bottom of it all.

Looking forward to a long weekend and then maybe some GUKPT fun next week as that tour rolls into the poker mecca that is Stockton.. or maybe thats the G thats next to the Stockton mecca bingo.. one or the two.

The schedule is pretty good, torn between the 6-Max which I scraped onto the final table of last year or the Omahaha with Stu on the Thursday. Would normally have a bash at a few of the main event sats as well but money and more importantly time are at a premium these days... life is fantastic at the moment though, suns shining.. life is good. Happy days x

The new next door neighbours....

My house is in a very quiet part of the world, tucked away in the corner at the end of a street, not overlooked by any houses and is all very pleasant. Usually get woken up by birds singing. Unfortunately this is no more.

The house to my left is actually on another estate with their back garden stretching a looooooong way all the way down to run along side my house. For the past few years its been fantastic, all quiet. Until the new neighbours moved in. I started to get a little concerned when I looked out of my bedroom window a few weeks back and saw that this had been built :

This is directly outside my bedroom. Bad times. Was hoping for something quiet. Sloths of somekind maybe. Fears were soon realised by the arrival of :

Barking starts early doors. This barking sets off Bonnie. Bonnie sets off Lilly"s sausage dog Charlie who to be fair is a little on the psychotic side. Lovely dog most of the time. Other times. Little man syndrome. Mental. All hell breaks loose  :-\

I"ve been round to complain and it has got slightly better and the dog is not kept constantly in the "pen".. but only slightly. Next steps?... watch this space.
