EoE run good in National Online Cup!!!

In usual EoE fashion here is a summary of my hands in the 1st League match:

I was dealt a total of about 80 hands and in those I was dealt over 10 pocket pairs and a few Aces with good kickers...

Here"s the outcome of some:

JJ - Had to fold, was certain I was up against a bigger pocket pair
A9 - Flop was 9 high but all hearts, turn was another heart and had to fold
QQ - I was in the BB and folded round
AA - Won 200 chips
QQ - Raised and got no callers
77 - Min raised, one caller who folded after the flop
88 - Against an all-in with AJ. A on the turn
AQ - Against 66. A on the river
KK - Against an all-in with JJ. J on the flop
88 - Against KQ. My eights holds up
AJ - Raised, no callers
AQ - Raised, no callers
66 - Raised, no callers
KK - All-in against JJ. J on the turn!

Also folded a couple of low pocket pairs.

(can"t believe my pocket Kings got beat by pocket Jacks............ Twice!!)

Very unlucky Colin but we didn"t do to bad considering we were both yo-yoing as you stated. I thought I was back in it when I hit that full house on the turn, only to be beaten on the river.

Group A was ok   only had Mark and me though, Mark played very well was obv card dead for ages found QQ early position hadnt played a hand for 5 orbits shoved into BB calling station who couldnt fold A3. Obv A on flop!! Dunno what he was thinking Mark wasnt shoving his stack light?.. But i managed to bink the win with some trappy play versus aggro player.. Ben will be onboard Sunday, hope Stewart can give us a full squad, keep the good start going.

I didn"t come last - let"s leave it at that, shall we?  

Every time I raised pre-flop with a hand, I picked up the blinds; saw a chance to steal a decent pot by over-shoving AK but lost almost everything to KK (but got QQ to fold, another villain claimed) as the board tantalised me with straight draws and flush draws and even the threat of an ace to take the pot, but no.

Then my team captain took me out! (well I did only have less than one big blind left and he did have pocket aces)

Actually, I thought you might have been betting to chase the other guy out of pot to give me a better chance of surviving, but I couldn"t hit the house or the straight - but I did make it to the first break!

Got to my table face with QJ diamonds, shoved and doubled to just over 2.5K in chips. My second and last hand of the night was shoving my QJ into AA with no help!!

Managed to hang around with no more than 4 big blinds left with 12 left.. Tripled up to 6k made final table, peaked at 10k when i found KK v 77 then same guy TT v 33.. went card dead no spots to get chips in first. Final hand five handed on bubble last 3k AIPF JJ v Q6 rag flop Q turn gg.
Must say have really enjoyed this comp, just that circumstances didnt go our way, Mark and me played all three.. Stewart had PC issues and Ben just didnt commit  . Some great added value to be won, hope piston broke or Norfolk kings can do a win.. Having a full squad for at least three games if not all is a must, the stats from group A reflect this.

Just like to thank Mark and Stewart for playing tonight shame we couldnt make a run for the line.. Im sorry that Mark has decided not to play the final game but i understand your reasoning, the WIFI issues at hotel was bad enough but the dirty rubdown after you lost the AQ hand was uncalled for and not in the APAT spirit, but thanks again for giving your commitment.

Wow that was quick!.. Didnt make first break lol.. guy min raises EP blinds 50/100 guy next to him re raises to 450.. i flat call with 99, original raiser folds.. flop 445 .. villain ........donkbets 300 on flop i ship 1800 all in guy thinks for a second has 3.2k calls with AK off.. .. K on turn gg me lol   gl to Stewart... Good luck any EOE teams still in the running.

I made it to the second break, finishing 9th.  Not picking up any hands at all made it very difficult, as I was rarely able get my chips in first.  I bluff-shoved 4-flushing boards to take a couple of pots, but my big hands either won the blinds or got muffed.
