APAT ECOAP Main Event - Live Update
« on: August 26, 2012, 03:47:07 AM »
Republic of Ireland wins the Team Event.

This means, and I have double checked, that Ger Smyth has won an APAT event

Suzanne Hayward wins the Six Max. I had to double check this too, but yes, this means Suzanne has also won an APAT event

Well that was quite an APAT Saturday!

From 2.30pm Sunday this thread will bring you coverage of the ECOAP Main Event, with up to 250 of APAT players old and new, the great and the good. Dawn Dineen, and Irritating Man too

Join me for all the fun of the fair, players, friends and family as we find a winner late on Monday.

It should be a corker.

I"m going to have a lot of fun, for old times sake, and if you read you will too.

See you later!

This is going to be good.

Will catch up when I return from the Pork & Cider festival.

Should be a great couple of days at DTD, expecting the photo count to rise considerably.

Most odd

People keep greeting me like I have come back from the dead

This is ironic, as I am bouncing around like Tigger on a legal high, whilst everyone else looks like death warmed up

Including Mr Dale.

No sign of Mr Smyth

DTD have issued a statement

"We currently have four staff at the Cash and Carry replenishing our stocks from last night, which were reduced to emergency levels by a man with bloodshot eyes and a walrus type moustache, and a pseudo Irish accent. He was heard to exclaim "FINALLY, I"VE MADE IT" whilst a man resembling Father Jack from the award winning Father Ted cornered Rob Yong, who has now decided not to come to the club today, just in case the man is back again

Whilst we are delighted to welcome APAT again, we"d appreciate advance notice next time if you plan to drink us out of house and home"

APAT replied

"It"s the sixth year Smyth has been to APAT events at DTD. That"s fair warning"
