Amazing comp as expected. Superb structure, many familiar faces, tikay, tightend, julian thew and a good 20 of the guys from Gala. Also had the pleasure of sitting next to a new face to me, but obviously a familiar face to many, RedDog and his many breakfasts!
As far as the poker goes i didnt have a great deal to play with, halved my stack to 5k when i made trip
with a queen kicker only for my opponent to show the other 10 with an :as: kind of knew it was coming.
Worked my way back to 16k and sat on it for the proceeding 4 hours as every hand i was dealt involved a 6. A few mediocre hands later and i was pushing with top pair and called by an overpair. Out about 70th.
Evilpie went a hell of a lot deeper. Rather sick end to his evening at 4-30ish, with only 28 players left, he saw his average stack of 40k disappear in a puff of smoke when his pocket aces got beaten by pocket kings. :"(
