I did think the shout by the MC at about 6pm on Sunday was good... "A third shout out for a valet on table 47, I have been informed that people are dying at this table".... raised a few laughs..

yeah yeah I know it"s titillating to see pretty girls in skimpy costumes, but the previous uniform made the girls look classy as well as attractive. Am I the only one who finds the hotpants and tights look rather tacky?

I prefer anticipation to laying it all out on the table (as it were)...but DAMN they looked good.

*Disclaimer...I ate in Hooters over that weekend and I don"t care who knows it.

I spent the ECOAP weekend at Leeds Festival and the valets at DTD wouldn"t have looked out of place there - they do look out of place in a Poker Room imho

I have never visited Hooters but I understand it"s a treat to get your hands on the ribs

Rob Yongs post from the Blonde Poker £500 update thread.

Tightend has shown me this. Goodness me, I don"t know where some of you get your information from, so many rumours go around about DTD, which is really surprising because we are so open as an organisation.

Lets clear the Valet uniforms up;

1. These are exactly the same uniforms as we used for the CPP model shoot 6 months ago, with the intention of using the same uniforms for the Valets in the run up to the CPP, whether we keep them after that, who knows. Hospitality staff within DTD has known about these new uniforms for 6 months, we just didn"t get round to ordering them till a few weeks ago, was meant to be much sooner.

2. Zero Valets have left due to the new uniform. Fact.

3. All Valets that are in the uniform were recruited to wear this uniform and have been shown it and tried it on before accepting the job (since it"s been planned for 6 months), anyone with over 6 months service has been given the choice to wear it, noone has been forced, goodness me.

4. We have also increased the pay for Valets by 30% for promoting the brand with the uniform.

5. The uniform is exactly the same as Hooters but black, its way less revealing that 99% of the uniforms in Vegas, but if you don"t like Hooters uniforms, I guess you wont like these

6. Feedback so far on Valets uniforms to me personally is 80% 20% in favour, I have asked 100+ customers over last few days, although I admit, some of the 20% feel very strongly against them, that"s life, cant keep everyone happy all of the time

I am really sorry for not putting out a Official Statement on this subject earlier, wrists slapped :)

Roberto

P.S. 910 :( :( :(

It is what it is. I heard the rumours at the weekend like everyone else. Fact that most of the staff are new there. Everytime i go there its new staff, and ive been there 4-5 times last couple of months, not that im complaining at all BTW, but it doesnt seem a good place to work, and most workers dont ever seem happy when ive ever been there.

What does PS. 910 mean? Anyone know?

Oh. Pretty close then, because a few days ago it was heading for a Massive overlay, so they got pretty close then in the end. They were never gone make it in these hard times. Guess there not that many people who can flick in £560 at this minute.

Nothing wrong with going a la Vegas with the valets outfits, but I thought the tight hot pant things didn"t do any of them any favours. I don"t remember the old uniforms (I"m not local to DTD, sadly) but I bet the skirts looked better even though they were probably less revealing.

Having said all that, I wasn"t complaining at the time. Funny that.
