Dear Jo,
RE: What do YOU want from the next league?
Having given your question some thought I have now made a
decision and decided to make YOU aware of my requirements.
Unfortunately, last season left me scarred and emotionally
tortured due to the teams lack of awareness of me as a team
member. One of the worst for this was actually yourself!
I hope that for this second League event East of England will
recognise me as a team player and acknowledge me when it
comes to making lists of "entered players" each week.
As we are on the subject of lists, and with the recent success
of Carl Pilgrim, would it be possible to also create a list of
medal winners within the E of E team? (at least then I can
add a blatant brag to this letter you may remember to add
my name in recognition of my bronze medal from Luton 2010
Main Event).
Yours sincerely,
Colin McCarthy

Dear Mr
moany McCarthy,
Having not recognised your name from your correspondence, I researched through the last league and found that you did indeed play for the elite team that is East of England.
I can only apologise that you felt that you were overlooked, however, I feel that this could be rectified easily. I feel that if you can manage a top 3 finish every week, your name will become well known very quickly, and you may even get a mention on the "who"s playing" sheet every now and again.
Your request for a "medal winners list" has been noted and will be considered in due course, however, with your able captain also in posession of a medal, of the gold variety, I think the chances are high!
Thanks for your feedback and I look forward to seeing you in the top 3 on a weekly basis!
Captain Jo
