UKIPT structure
« on: September 10, 2012, 12:32:31 PM »
One of the reasons I wasn"t so disppointed to miss out on this event was the sense that my aged body might not handle another sequence of long sessions at the table.
The only other UKIPT I"d played was the Nottingham leg when we played 12 x 1hr levels on Day 1 and finished around 2.30am so I"d imagined this would be the same. Especialy since they were starting at noon again.

Instead they played 8 x 1hr levels on Days 1 & 2, and much the same to the final table on Day 3.

Does a tournament like this warrant being a four day affair?

Main reason I swerve these now is that I don"t have time to commit to 4 days finishing on a Monday. Personally think the day 1s are too short
Looking forward to making my first day 2
