If there is to be satellites it would have to be on Monday/Tuesday, direct buy-in on Thursday/Friday due to WCOAP

I didn"t think about that. It"s all very tricky - I"m glad I"m not the one who has to make these difficult decisions :)

Indeed it is. Not sure that having registration a week later on the 11th is a good idea either - that would be just two weeks before the event and doesn"t give Caz much time to sort out the 7 star hotel that she"s accustomed to  ;) (so long as we both get in, obviously)

I really don"t think its safe to assume anything...

There are a number of options open to the team. They have used various entry routes in the past including, click fest (best option IMO), satelite (just as good IMO), ballot (not good at all), local live satelite at venue (okay if you live nearby). It could be any or a combination of these.

I think they should save one seat till after all seats are allocated, and have a $2 rebuy for the one seat. I think it would be interesting.

But theyve already mentioned that APAT dont agree with rebuy tournaments so that would be contradicting themselves?

With a higher capacity for this event then I don"t see any justifiable reason why it shouldn"t be primarily a click-fest with a small proportion of seats available through satellites.

Until Des gives the word...we don"t KNOW the capacity...at the moment it"s all rumour and hopes.

Still, I agree with your point!

Poker Player Magazine quotes the capacity as 300 (150 each day I guess) so a click-fest should be ok. But who goes on which day?
Most people will probably prefer the Sunday, only 1 nights accom. to pay for.
This speculating is great fun, but it dosen"t look like we"ll know the finer details until the end of the week.

As Luton is only an hour or so"s drive for me, I"ve been mulling over picking a Saturday if I get in.

If I make it to Day 2, I can rest up on Sunday and take a leisurely drive Monday morning.

Even if think I"m likely to be cream-crackered Saturday night, I can just book for one night and drive home Sunday morning.

Of course, that"s me sorted, others will have to make choices...but then this is the first one even close to home for me!

What day would the click feast be on, with the WCOAP on Saturday and Sunday at 8.00, most people will entering them so they will be in on these days so 7.30 would be good

No clue..doesn"t have to be on the weekend though. Any day they pick, you"d just have to decide whether or not to stay in for it.

i dont see how they can have 150 each day..would that not mean the final 2 tables would be played on the 3rd day?

If its anything like the G Casino in Manchester itll be a great venue

As long at they turn the feckin" music down!

The G Casino in Luton is excellent.  The poker room is set quite a bit away from the rest of the casino in a separate area.

Looking forward to it.
