Last night at star city.....

I played the 10r before a mates birthday party. We had to go (long story) so I proceeded to then win EVERY single hand by moving in pre flop. I had:

85 vs AJ- 5 on the flop
92 vs Ak- 2 on the turn
94 vs AK- trip 9"s by the turn
65 vs A8- Ace on the river
Q5 vs AQ- five on the flop
A3 vs KQ- flopped 2 pair
A10 vs J10 vs K10- K on flop  I river nut straight

I played EVERY hand BLIND and was sick. I think I"ve used up all my luck for 6 months

At the break I had 24000 out of the 155000 chips in play. 1/6 of the chips with 40 players left average stack around 4000. Blinds were just 100/200. £600 for first.

In the end I had to give all my chips away.

Anyone else gone a sick run like this one? Typical- when u want to leave you hit every hand you play yet in a big tournament I can"t win a coin flip!!!

Gonna try my luck in the Full Tilt million tonight. Maybe I shoudl try moving in blind every hand???

I played one night against a lady who had to leave - she apologised, then called all in to a preflop raise.... raiser showed AA and she showed J7.... flop came 8 9 10.   Next hand she open raised all in blind and got two callers (both calling all their chips).... they flipped AK and QQ............ she turned up...... KK!!!!

Her boyfriend was stood watching and having been knocked out early was insistent that they went home and that she threw her chips in.... only now she was chip leader by miles!

So, he then said let me have your credit card if I have to stay..... and proceeded to withdraw £500 and lose the lot on roulette!

That"ll teach her for getting lucky  

She went on to win the tourney, beating me into second place.... and won the princely sum of £530.... meaning that with her boyfriend"s loss on roulette, plus her buy in, she finished the night dead even!!

Sack the boyfriend!!!!!!!!!

Playing a £20 freezeout tournament in my local casino... I went down to 300 chips from starting stack of 4,000 after my JJ got beat by 99 which made trips. Blinds still only on second level at 100/200 and I pick up pocket on my BB so threw my 300 in... 5 callers, I hit trip and am upto 1500. Table breaks up and my friends who are out tell me they"re moving onto another casino for a later game, i"m still quite short stacked so told them to hold on and went all in blind... J4 turned into trip . Done the same again and had something like 96 which made a straight. I was then back in contention so told them to go ahead and I stayed on and eventually came 3rd for something like £120 or so...
