Once the deadline has passed, this is what"s going to happen:
The three captains will each start a separate thread announcing their teams. We will not be notifying unsuccessful applicants by PM, so the announcements will be their notification - I have consulted previous England team threads and spoken directly to previous captains and feel that this is the best way forward. We have been given a great honour and as commented before, this is the really difficult part and from a personal point of view I can sincerely say that there will be some really good players, and some really good friends who will be unsuccessful but I do not want to enter into any specific debates as to the reason for any individual non-selection - I hope that can be understood by all concerned.
What we will be doing as captains is deciding on some "reserves" and the "1st reserve" will be contacted by PM to ascertain whether they are prepared to be effectively "on standby" should any member of England A, B or C have to drop out.... of course we are very hopeful that this does not happen
