River spot - What is the play?
« on: November 05, 2012, 17:18:08 PM »
OK, we have an opponent playing 21/11 and I have a note on him that says "chases draws". What do you do and why - discuss? That"s about all the info we have. If he has an opinion of me it is probably that I am quite loose and don"t need a hand to bet with.

This is a flush so much of the time that calling can"t be profitable.

When passive players lead into you, fold. Villain is check calling everything you beat.

It does look like he has it, but dont think i would/could fold this at these stakes. That is a poor thing to say, because it looks like you are beat.

Trying to think of any hand he can have that your beating, Ax v unlikely, J9 or Qx i think he may bet smaller on river, the only hand he can have is K9dd that he turns into a bluff.
