Just in from work and its probably too late for me to get in to this topic tonight. Will be travelling tomorrow, but will post from Stoke over the weekend. It could well become a popcorn thread  ::)

Posting some important response when everyone is in Stoke for the weekend..... As a member of a Labour government once said so infamously, it"s a good day to hide bad news.....    hmmmmmm ;)

See you in Stoke :)

Erm, if I wanted to hide news, releasing it on a day when I"m surrounded by members would seem a pretty flawed strategy! :)

Looking forward to Stoke very much, see you there.

Sure, Boss has problems but they are outweighed by so many things on the two skins(?) where I have an interest in playing.

Can"t imagine the software getting any sort of major change any time soon so we put up with the occasional blip when changing tables; the weird H4H routine; being sat a a table of two when late regging into a tourney with 32 runners; having to minimise the add-on and tourney status drop downs to be able to see seats 1&2"s cards amongst others.
But they are manageable and the benefits of playing on the two skins far outweigh them IMO.

My one issue, which I can"t see being resolved any time, is wanting to play both APAT & DTD events at the same time. Would be good to play the Bunch of Fives and a DTD satellite at the same time without the DTD sats being opened out to the entire network.

Boss is far from perfect, but prefer playing there to IPoker and OnGame, so definitely not the worst for me. When I factor in positives like the rakefree Sunday tourney, it would take a lot more than the H4H overkill (my biggest issue) to put me off.

You think we have problems.

I"m due to play the final leg of the Ninja Poker League over on iPoker tonight. Started at 7:30pm.

65 players pre-regged for this, major server problems, only one player seems to be able to log onto the site at the moment, and they are doing a good job of hoovering up the blinds as quickly as possible.  All other tables are merely passing blinds between themselves with everyone sat out.

So, the league game on Ninja poker ran last night instead.  At 7pm, same network problems, no one could get in.  By 7:50pm, the problem was resolved and those that were sat out could sit down, and anyone else could late reg, so they decided that the result would stand.

One of the comments on the thread that was growing by the second about this stated, and I quote :-

"i nominate microgaming or the network DTD is on...i am starting to get really annoyed with ipoker"

So, that network that DTD is on would be the same one APAT is on.

Unfortunately, all of this nonsense this week means they have had to move the 2nd chance STT that all leg winners get to play in until tonight, the one night this week I can"t play. (Blatant, I won a league leg brag, I know).

I"ve tried to put myself in their shoes as what I would do if this sort of thing happened with an APAT event, and due to the timings that link in the league with other promos, I don"t see they have any other choice, just frustrating that I lose out again on something I have supported.

But, that aside, at least our network is stable.   ;)

Is there nobody that can play for you, who you trust with your log-in details?

That would be against network rules Wayne, and it"s not like me to break the rules.  Just one of those things unfortunately.  I"m not out of pocket, just a missed opportunity.   8)

Their random number generator is independently certified and audited.  To suggest anything else; no matter how cruel the river treats you, is just wrong.
