First game of Texas Holdem was for Children In Need errrm 8 ish years ago. Played a pub organised game in Northwich, can"t remember the pub but anyone who knows it will know it was run by John Lavin. I was invited to join VoyageInPoker from where I started playing satellites and started watching the bank roll slip away

Payment structures are too steep, some comps go through a crap shoot stage too early, seams a shame to play soooo long to get to that stage and get little pay on a 50/50
