What is the start time please? (might have missed it somewhere but couldn"t see it at the start of the thread).  Driving down from Leeds Sat morning, with several inches of snow forecast overnight here, so wondering how early we are going to have to start digging out the car.  And what time for day 2 too please.

If people are delayed due to weather presume someone else in the team would be allowed to register them? Would they need to pay or could that wait for player to arrive?

2:30 start both days.  No probs with registration, your captain can sort that.  Payment is per team, so no worries.

We will be taking team photos from 1pm guys, so can captains please ensure they have their entire team available in the cardroom between 1.00pm and 1.30pm.

The event itself starts at 2.30pm on both days.

I haven"t had confirmation back from the cardroom about the trainers, but trust what Celtic says above, as he is a regular there and very well known to us.  So I will be wearing trainers....

I spoke to the casino last night and they said trainers and hoodies are now fine, just no sportwear / football shirts etc.

From myself and Team Blue Blood Poker we"d like to congratulate the winning teams and individuals. We all really enjoyed the event and the feedback from my fellow team members was that they found it refreshing to play poker in such a friendly atmosphere, several are already asking me when the next National Live Events are and they are planning on joining the national online league.

Many thanks to APAT for organising another awesome event & hope to see you all soon.  8)

Hello boys and girls (and anything else in between)

Just thought I would drop this little link here. The article will not go live on the UK & Ireland PokerNews site until 12:30 today (Jan. 29) but you should still be able to see it if you click the link before then!
