So here is the summary of how the Event will run:-
WCOAP Cash ChampionshipThe event is run over two timed phases and the key features are as follows:-
Phase One:
- The first phase will run over several tables for a three hour period.
- Players must buy in for £100 + a one off 10% fee.
- Players will be able to have one optional rebuy of £100 if they lose their entire first stack. Their will be no fee on their rebuy.
- Players will be assigned a table and seat number as in tournament play.
- Blinds will be static at 50p / £1 in the first phase.
- Players can opt to leave with the cash in front of them. However, once they have exited, they cannot buy back in.
- There will be no alternates or late buy ins.
- Tables are balanced following exits as a tournament would be.
- At the end of the first phase, the leading eight cash stacks are carried forward to the final table.
- The game is over for the remaining players and they keep whatever cash is left in front of them.
Phase Two:-
- The final phase will run over three hours.
- The blinds will increase to £1 / £2.
- Players will draw for seat position.
- If players have not used their single rebuy, they can choose to add it to their stack before play recommences in phase two.
- Players can again choose to leave the final table at any point with the cash in front of them.
- The player who is either the last standing, or has the largest stack left after the three hour phase two period will be the event winner.
