Although the WCOAP has to be limited in its offering because of overybodys other commitments, I do think Peter has brought some interesting ideas forward that may well be worth forum discussion after Easter when we can see just how much demand there was and how successfully things ran.

Completely agree with that.

I"ll update my list Chris.  You"ll just need to sort entry for the 2nd of your side events.

It"s probably been mentioned somewhere on here but I"m to lazy to troll..
Is there a link to see how points are awarded to those lucky enough to be playing in the team event towards POTS?
Or has it yet to be decided?

Isn"t it usually none...?

Seems unfair to allow POTS points in a competition that this not open to all.

For those talented lucky enough to be chosen to represent a country...that should be honour/benefit enough.

But perhaps I"m rehashing an old argument...not that it"s of any interest to me.  ;D

You might be correct Paulie you usually are  ;D..

In the depths of my twisted mind I thought points where up for grabs in the team event as players might miss out on points in the side events running at same time ie. Stud and 6 max..

I"m sure Leigh or Des will confirm either way?

As per last year, POTS ranking points will be awarded to the top individual points scorers in the team event. And as per last year, I doubt it will make any difference  ;D

Hi guys, I"ve been away since I last posted and I read on uk poker news that its been sold out? I put my name down for the ones I wanted to play, when are we meant to pay for the seats? I haven"t had any emails or anything and I don"t really come on here much?

you can pay for each event at the venue up to 30 min before the tournament starts.

Is this correct? Do you have to pay 30 mins before it starts?

UP TO 30 mins....

So what happens if you are running late and dont get there till after it starts?

I would like to know the answer to that as well. Me and Chris Salmon are coming down Thursday, but not leaving work till gone 3 so expecting  to get there until 6 to 6:30. We are both in for the STUD event on that night that starts at 6.
Is there anyway we can buy in online ???

The best answer is to try and get someone to buy you in before it starts.

Also, DTD are holding a number of seats exclusively for their members across the weekend.  They will have a smalll number of seats available for the folllowing events (Speak to DTD cashdesk for availability)
