Spoke to the Minature Golf Association of GB, who recommended the following places:

http://hamandeggerfiles.blogspot.co.uk/2010/02/from-archives-coalville-minigolf.html

Coalville is 26 miles from Nottingham, so I don"t think we"ll bother with that.

and

15 miles away, and rumoured to have shut down lol...

Right, so I think we"re pitch and putting instead!... More info to follow sooooon.

I think I"ll probably have to withdraw from the synchronised drowning Matt.

I assumed I"d have forgotten about my head by now, but it is still tender and feels weird to the touch. Still strange things going on back there, though I have no idea what, cos I can"t see. I"ll have to get Debjani to take a look.

Anyway, based on my experience in the inaugural drowning championship last year, I know that when you crash, you don"t have much control over what goes where and I don"t think I am ready for even a soft bump on the back of my head just yet.

If you decide to include an egg-and-spoon race in your sports extravaganza, I"m your man.

He got bashed outside the casino in Luton - it seems he must have upset someone during the course of the evening"s poker.  The culprit is not yet identified, but the shortlist is narrowed down to just under a thousand :)

Do we have dates yet?

I think we should hold the pool on the Friday myself as t is likely to be the quieter day at Rileys. I will post up a list of people who are in the draw today or tomorrow to confirm.

Can we not have pool sat, sun or Monday as would have thought quite a few people would travel down fri morning? Not sure the vast majority of people will be there thurs?

Pingpong can either be on Sat 30th or Sun 31st (they are closed Friday, so can"t hold it then).

Cost is £70 for 2.5 hours hire, which should be enough time if we run to the same format as our last event.

We"re looking at 10am > 12.30pm. So which day would be best? I"m inclined to go for Sunday AM...
