Loving this idea!! Can"t we pencil it into the WCOAP quickly  ;)

Each winner starting of with 10k starting stack and if you have won two events you get 20k!!! Starting stack simples.. ;D ;D

Winner gets a $10,000 WSOPME seat??  ::)

Pretty sure this COC has never happened before, I certainly remember nothing of any such event !!!!!!!!

Seriously. Having it as part of WCOAP does make sense actually if you are going to do it.

Rodders, you"ve definitely played in it, it was in Bolton, you got lost and got very drunk  ;D

I assumed you had forgotten about this, it is at least 10 minutes since you mentioned it :-)

Rodders, you"ve definitely played in it, it was in Bolton, you got lost and got very drunk  ;D

I sat at the table messed about with some cards and chips but played is probably a bit of a stretch

Of course not, you weren"t in it very long...plus you fell over on the way.

This is clearly inaccurate, I did not fall over on the way, I got there fine. I then got lost on the way to the pub after being eliminated in about 5 minutes by some luckbox fish. Then I found the pub with help from Asa before having a bottle of Becks drinking race with Ironside which he just about won in a photo finish.

THEN on my way back to the casino I accidentally walked through a VERY slippery puddle and slipped over. It was quite lucky I had Jack and Pitchy with me to help me see the funny side (which they did by p***ing themselves laughing for about 10 minutes). Wouldn"t have minded but I dropped my Chicken and Chips lol

Who won the event again?

Who won the event again?

Warren Jones

Really? Are you sure, so not only did I get knocked out by a luckbox fish he also won the tournament. This just gets worse.

Actually I am sure there is a better picture of Warren at the end of the event in front of the Betfair sign, he loikes that picture so much it really should be posted :-)

I have no recollection of p***ing myself at Rodders" expense. I also have no recollection of streaking to hotel reception. Or sleeping in a lift. I am told it was quite a good weekend though.

What happened with the $/£ 20k sponsorship deal? Is there a write up somewhere?

Maybe Warren will write it up one day, but I know that he went for the little and often approach with local tournaments and did quite well for himself.  A sensible approach that saw him turn the sponsorship package into money in his back pocket. Well played that man.
