Dann"s suggestion is as good as any.

Not that I think it makes any difference. Even if villain is paying attention and picks up that you"re acting out of the ordinary - you"re then flipping as to whether he thinks it"s genuine or you"re full of ****.

But given you think he"s going to call there"d be no harm in giving it a go.

Jump to your feet and throw your chair back and grab your cards ready to flip them and hope he thinks you have aces :)

In reality it"s probably the case that it won"t make a great deal of difference what I say.

Should have put my coat on packed all my stuff up / done a little dance.

Probably best not to talk at all - given that you"re craving a fold, you don"t want anything in your voice to give away any weakness.  Just sit back and watch the TV screen til he makes his mind up.

Disagree, it matter"s a lot if he calls or not.

I would agree with saying nothing personally.

Not that im a body language/speech play expert but there are only 3 answers here:

1 - Say nothing
2 - Say "Yes!" and nothing else
3 - Say "Its not a flip"

I have done all 3 before, but depends on villian.  If you take him as someone that has a solid thought process and is receptive to what is going on, i would just say "Yes" as it gives away less info.

The other option, not that i agree with it, is call the clock. Just for lols!

What I meant was there are no more poker decisions to make.

Sure you can get into a war of words but anything you say can always be interpreted as either a tell or a reverse tell. So it"s 50/50 whether you influence the player favourably or not.

Even if you have history on the villain and seen how he processes spoken info, there is no guarantee he will process similar speech play the same way.

In short, "nothing else matters" so button it.

On second thoughts, if you are that desperate for a fold then try jabbering away non stop about absolute nothing. If someone who is generally quiet starts chatting, that is normally a sign of strength. He will fold for sure ;)

So telling him to "stop arsing around and make up his mind" would probably be a bad plan :-)

Hahaha. Just realised what I did. That"s why I am a speech play failure. Saying what Dean said was my way of saying nothing, but of course that is not the case. Remind me never to speak at the table again.
