APAT Season 7 Draft

How about a draft of ten players.  Live and Online ranking points count for the scoring.

3 x APAT Gold Owners (Any player who has won an APAT Gold Medal)
1 x APAT Internationals (Any player who has represented their country at an APAT event)
1 x APAT Nearly But Not Quite (Any player who has played at least one APAT live event, but never cashed)
1 x BCPC In The House (Any player who is a member of the world reknowned Black Country Poker Club)
1 x APAT Ladies (Any female APAT member.  PhilTC in stag weekend outfit does not count)
3 x Wildcard Picks

Pick Captain (Points x2)
Pick Vice Captain (Points x 1.5)


Might not be possible to do a full list for each category, but it should self police itself quite easily, and we"ll put up some prizes for the top picks.

I like the Captain and V/C idea, 10 seems a bit much though.

Ill update OP with the rules and guidelines however, would love someone to do the organising as i am sure to forget.

Rules:

Each person picks:

APAT International (any player that has repped for country)
National Winner
APAT Medal Winner
Female Player
Overseas Player (non Home countries, so no ROI either)
APAT Team Gold Medalist (anyone that has played/won the team event)
2 wildcards

1 Player must be selected as Captain scoring double points
1 Player must be selected as VCaptain scoring 1.5x points

All events carry the following points:

APAT Gold - 8pts
APAT Silver - 6pts
APAT Bronze - 4pts
Final Tbl - 2pts
Cashing - 1pt

If a player is selected for their country, they can still score points IF they finish in the top 3 of the rankings and the Gold, Silver, Bronze points apply.  If their team wins a medal but they do not feature in the top 3 of the individuals then 0 points!!

Prizes/Entry:

Ill leave that up to you to decide.  Maybe Des/Leigh/Matt may wanna put up a Hoodie or somthing?

Not sure about this one. If people know who has reached an FT without getting on the podium, they are likely not to know whether they have received a medal on another occasion.

They expressed interest before rules set, still awaiting their teams however

This will just have to be cross referenced, maybe its a logisitcal nightmare for the organiser, but all we are asking is people to enter their teams.

Most people will just pick their mates anyways,

I didn"t think the FTlist through. Stu"s lists don"t have people who made just 1 - so probably more trouble than it"s worth.

I have a list of everyone who as made a FT (in a National event) and whether or not they got a medal.

225 players have made a FT without ever getting a medal.


Edit: There is 1 player who has made 4 National FT"s without a medal. Anyone name him?*
