Apologies to everyone who wanted to be part of the APAT team and did not make it in.  Space has been very limited and in the end APAT have gone with a team that includes members who have won events and placed at the top of the rankings over the last two seasons.  Even our wildcard Caroline has cashed three or four times in APAT events, which few others can match.

I will be asking the captains to advertise any late seats that become available here so that as many of you as possible can get into the event.

I"m putting together a team to represent the South West Poker Meetup Group but there are currently 2 empty spaces.

A little about us: We organise well structured home games around the South West (but mainly in Bristol) and are mainly amateurs, although there are a couple of professionals lurking. Last week the GBPT came to Bristol and we put together 10% of the field for the first event and ended up with 30% of the cash spots including first place. We also had the winner for the final £50 rebuy event. I"m not sure how many APAT medals we have between us, but it is certainly several.
