Looks a great format with a nice set of prizes and added value for those playing..

Dunno if I will play..

A. Can"t commit to going in first place (but like the idea of being able to transfer package)
B. 9.30pm start time seems to late?
C. 10am on weekends to early lol

Good luck to all those playing and hope someone connected with APAT/LPPL takes it down

Hey Carl,

Shame you may not be able to play mate - timings of games are always an issue - whatever time slot selected will appeal to some and be of no good to others.

We try and respect the live games that LPPL members (and hopefully soon some APAT members!) will play - 21:30 was felt to be the right balance for as many as possible - whilst knowing we cant please all.

But we had over 20 players last night - a great start with more to come - and yes, packages are sellable/transferrable, although if you can attend you certainly wont be disappointed by doing so! But the opportunity is there to "cash" these in to members who want to go - and there are certainly many of these around.

Enjoyable game last night - Brian Yates hitting every flop in sight and John Murray being as lucky as usual - it wont last!!

:D what you think this is for me  :D I would be happy would it start 9:30pm, but for me it starts 10:30pm  :D

after a good thought, I decided to go into it, as anyway you all are much better than me, so the chance to really win a package is close to zero, so will do it just for the fun of a league
There are some things in prizedescription which I do not understand, but as my chances to really win one are close to zero i shall very about this and go on matt"s nerves to explain it to me, should a miracle happen and i get one

Can"t join today, and most likely not tomorrow as well, but will than be there regulary

Matt, could you clarify a couple of things for me please.

1st through 8th in points at the end of July is worth same? (i.e. entry into final)?

The freeroll for everyone else is for 2 spots into the same final?

Also, will there be a running total of the final prize money. I ask this because it"s not worth playing for the daily prize (other than to support LPPL/APAT of course) so at some point a judgement will have to be made if it worth persuing more points to reach the final 8.

Thanks

Yes, that is correct.

The Freeroll is for all players who miss out on the top 8 spots, but who have played a minimum of 8 games in the league.

Also, will there be a running total of the final prize money. I ask this because it"s not worth playing for the daily prize (other than to support LPPL/APAT of course) so at some point a judgement will have to be made if it worth persuing more points to reach the final 8.

Running total will be posted after each match. A link to the LPPL leaderboard will be live on the 2nd post in this thread, within 60 mins.

Looks like a good structure. Might give it a go later in the month.

One final question. How the hell did John Murray get the name "The Charmer"?

It wasn"t my doing. You"ll have to ask Kim about that. If you don"t yet know Kim, you will.

Well, because we at LPPL think he is charming.
