For what it"s worth, I didn"t actually see any offence in Brian"s initial post. I"ve known the guy for years, love that he"s an organiser who has put a lot of his own time into putting on games for others and he"s a done a good job of it. APAT is not in the business of shooting those guys down. Quite the opposite, we"ve actively allowed him to promote BCPC and that has helped grow his group over time.
One thing I would add though, it doesn"t matter a jot whether we"re pleaded with, or shouted at, to sort out this sort of issue. We look at it practically and always try to reach the right decision with the facts available.
Precedents mean NOTHING, it"s not even a word worth using here.
Where we can help and we feel its the right thing to do, we do. No politics, favours or anything else. Where we can"t help; and in this case regrettably we can"t, we feel bad about it - but never guilty.
