Actually being serious sadly I am not going to make the end of the night. I have to return to Newport fairly sober on the 11:20pm train. Bad times, but Saturday is huge and I don"t want to be hung over at all, not even slightly.

Some advice from a local below:

The Packet is ok but there are much better places around it... Terra Nova and Salt are just a minute walk away and overlook the Bay itself. They would be my choice,. They also have Balconies. Ely Jenkins and Cwtch bar are also nice (directly opposite the Packet). They are all new places. the Packet has been there donkeys years - will be fine but the other places will be nicer

Sat with Daz & Shaz and they have just been to terra nova and approve! They couldn"t find The Packet!

Switch the meeting place to Terra Nova if ya like. Either will be fine, I like The Packet but more than happy to go with the flow.

We may as well stick with meeting in The Packet I guess as everybody knows that is what we are doing but if people can"t find it for any reason then either ring somebody or meet in Terra Nova.

Terra Nova and those places are likely to be packed as the sun is out and it is Friday afternoon whereas The Packet will not be so bad so I thought it would make a better meeting place as it will be easier to get the first beer :-)
