Can anyone tell me if there are seats still available for this event and if so how many?

It"s very unlikely that the event is sold out because (as far as I know), the seats haven"t gone on open sale yet. You can reserve a seat by clicking on the  banner at the bottom of this thread and paying a non-refundable £5 - you are then guaranteed a seat which you pay for in full at the casino on the day.

I know about the £5 reserve deal, dont like the non refundable part tho  ;)  I just wanted to know how close to being sold out it actually is.

The only reliable indication of the current situation would be to know how many people have paid the reserve a seat fee, but I think that only Des/Leigh/Matt/Mark/Tom could tell you that.

There is near enough 100 seats already reserved for this event, and I think the cap is 120, although Tom is finalising a few details with the venue at the moment.

If you want to play and don"t want to have to risk an alternates list on the day, I would strongly recommend using the reserve a seat facility on the homepage.

Entirely your decision though, and as Ian has stated, the fiver is non-refundable and you will still need to pay the £82.50 buyin at the venue on the day.

I hope I haven"t stepped on anyone"s toes by chipping in with the info Leigh, just trying to assist a guy with a low post-count who might not fully grasp the new system of seat reservation  :)

Hey Khayless, there is still 9pm tonight and 9am tomorrow morning to buy in via the online holding tanks - and I"m in (another) discussion with Alea to ensure they know that the 5 seats they have "sold" are non-refundable as I"ve pointed out many times to them it will not be acceptable for us for them to withdraw and leave an empty seat when we could have filled it with one of our members (who may not travel because the event is full) - so at this point, I would say there is still a possibility that one of the Alea tickets could be open for a seat exchange (not an ideal situation, but Alea didn"t emphasise this point with the locals who bought in when I double checked with them, despite this being pointed out to them at the start of our initial discussions) - so, don"t give up with them - at this point in time I would suggest it may still be a slight possible to get a seat via them (seat exchange)

Hi Tom and Matt
I see the player list for Glasgow was updated yesterday (24th) does this include the people who bought into the holding tank on Monday morning? The reason I ask is RORY LAIDLAW bought into the holding tank on Monday and his name does not appear on the most recent list.
APAT UK championships ME 2010 - 5th place cash
APAT ECOAP 6 max 2012 - 6th place cash
APAT UK championships ME 2013- 11th place cash
