Is this what I stayed in for? For someone to river a gutshot high straight over my low straight immediately after I flop top two against a flopped nut flush. I"ve been running good all week, so I don"t expect this. Frankly, I expect a better standard of river card from APAT.

How about when you get all in pre with ATo against my AA, and flop two 10s? :)

The Flops have generally been okay. I think Matt has those programmed correctly. It"s the Rivers that need to have the bugs written out. I was worried you were going to suck out on me.
5th place - Portsmouth Snooker Club £10 rebuy

Liz Lieu borrowed my pen - 01/06/2013

AA v Grant"s 88 for me.. and he hits runner runner for the straight... meh

That was harsh Asa, unlucky bud. I was floating the flop with the K/4/5 and only one overcard, then when the 6 hit the turn, calling 1400 into 4100 was a spot where I felt I could afford to take another card and evaluate again on the river in position. The 7 on the river meant doom for you unfortunately.

Thanks Ger and well played big man. At no point in that HU did I feel the same, rode my luck when you had a big CL over me and remember joking that the comeback was on. Still didn"t actually think at that point the turn around would happen TBH but the cards ran far better for me than for you mate. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole game and FT was a great battle, no disrespect to any others but glad it was you, me & Ian who got to the final 3  ;)

Vaino (Rhino) won Gold and a Mrdribble won silver (unknown to me).  Congratulations to Vaino a regular apater and Curly on his bronze medal. I was really hoping Tony would have made the top 3 as he was short stacked on the final table and kept throwing his chips in and gave them a run for their money coming fourth.

Thanks, if it is Chris Webber who came 4th at DTD in August. The style of play was definitely him then.
