Hi JP, I can answer the first 2 of those, leaving the last to Des/Tom.

1. The buy-in route via Coral with be closed at 8pm 31st March. This is to allow us enough time to get the cash to the casino. After that point you can still reserve via EventBrite, or buy-in at the casino directly.
2. If you won a seat via a satellite you have to use it (or sell it via the seat exchange). If you bought in, then [MODIFIED] after the Coral holding tanks close you"ll need to use the seat exchange as per standard APAT events [MODIFIED]

Thanks Matt much appreciated. I"m sure I"m not the only one asking about the last point if Des or Tom can clarify

I have been dipping in and out of this thread so apologies if answers to these questions have been posted already but here goes:

- When will the buy in route via Coral Poker be closed?
- If I want to unregister for an event but don"t manage to do so before the Coral option closes, can I still do that, how and what is the deadline?
- Can we get some clarity on the rules / guidelines for when you are reg"d in multiple events simultaneously - i.e. you are reg"d into an evening event but are still in the afternoon event. I assume your buy in is refunded? If so how? Cash at the venue?

Thanks

Hi JP, either myself or Des will be the APAT Host each day throughout the week, so as long as you advise us whilst still in the "first" tournament and just before the start of the "second" tournament we can un-reg you and get you a cash refund (if you buyin at the venue or via Coral in advance).

Please see Matt's amended post below clarifying that you"ll need to use the seat exchange facility after Coral closes as per standard APAT events.

Hi guys thought anyone who is thinking of leaving their car in the  Westerfield car park for WCOAP may be interested in the following link..

https://expressparking.uk.westfield.com/default.aspx

Although its not a huge saving, just saves the hassle of paying at the machine on departure, and comes straight out of bank/card..

Takes a couple of weeks to come through so if you are thinking of taking advantage I would request ASAP  :)

Dunno if Paulie wants to move to travel tips? Might be helpful..

EDIT... ONLY IF YOUR IN WESTFIELD LONDON NOT STRATFORD CITY OOOOOPSSS MY BAD  ;D

Looks like I"ve missed deadline to buy seats for the main event. Where can I buy seats for Day 1 of the main event and a side event?

If you visit http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=14901.0 you"ll find a link to the APAT Eventbrite facility which is still open to reserve (and guarantee) a seat in all events.

Just thinking about this Tom, is it worth building a break into the first tournament just before the 2nd one starts to allow this to take place. Even if it"s a pause mid level.

Also if it appears that the first tournament will end soon or you are very short stacked, can you leave your chips in play in the 2nd? I know DTD have strict rules against this!

Yes would like to hear a ruling on this aswell.. E.G. I"m playing antes only on Thursday, starts at 12.00pm and have also regged for HORSE at 7.00pm.. Say come 6.55pm Thursday I have a short stack but a playable stack and HORSE is about to start can I keep regged and I blind/ ante away until I bust then hop straight into HORSE?

..sounds confusing but I know what I mean  ;D

I also know what you mean so no worries!  However, if we are to have a rule that "no multi-tabling is allowed", then we can"t afford to be wishy-washy about it - if we let "a short stack" stay in the event for 5 mins until he loses his stack, what do we do if he doubles up? what do we do with the guy who had a large stack but went out either 1 min before the short stack or the same time (and we un-reg"d him from the 2nd event because he had a large stack) - or he went out 10 seconds after the small stack - we have to have a "line" - and that line is best drawn at the 2nd event start - so, with no multi-tabling the "cut-off" remains the start of the 2nd event for players to unreg.

I would point out that I"m working on finalising a player briefing/schedules for all events and each event will have a short "late entry" period (obv is seats are available!).

Unfortunately this is for Westfield London only...

from the faq....

Is Express Parking available at Westfield Stratford City?

At the moment this service is only available at Westfield London. If we decide to extend the service to Westfield Stratford City, we will be in contact to advise all Express Parking members.

Thanks again tom

On the first point above, are we definitely saying that? I thought it was a DTD rule in the past! Fine if we are, but just want absolutely clarity (and apologies if that was already stated.)

On the second point, if that is the case then I think it would be wise to build a break or a 5 minute "clock pause" mid level 15 mins before the start of the next tournament so that those this in can avoid breaking the rules and get their refund.

I wonder if anybody can help me, looking to save money and come down Saturday morning rather than Friday but due to the main event starting at 12 o"clock I will not be able to check in till later so will there be a dinner break or a break longer than 30 minutes for me to check in to my hotel? Cheers chris
