Surely this needs 50 odd teams to get to a prizepool to cover Vegas trips ?

Love the structure, but 24hrs notice and on Christmas Day evening might be stretching it a bit.

Why not Boxing Day, or even Friday 27th ?

Events like this have traditionally been set up for LPPL members at their request - and so again this year... APAT members very welcome to join in if they wish.. and of course it needs a min number of teams - or at least "buyins" (allowing for the topup/addon)... if you"re free to play you"re free to play... if not.. but we have events on Boxing Day and New Year"s Day as well.

Sorry Tom, didn"t realise it was an LPPL thing.

As you say, if you can play, then play.  Just seems a shame for a great structured "Doubles" tourney will be missed by the majority of people unless they hit the forum today or tomorrow.

Would love to see these run more regularly.

I do agree - just "I am where I am at the moment"!  I would also love to incorporate these type of small buyin/social/big prize events into the live structure - tried to get it for Stoke on the Fri, but alas, Genting could only "sign up" to so much... I live in hope...

I agree about about the short notice but any length of notice would of been useless for me as I am working tomorrow..

From what I understand there are 3 packages available: 2 fot the winning duo and one for the individual that finishes first and if not enough money isgenerated then the cash is split 3 ways. Is this correct?
