3k GTD
« on: January 10, 2014, 17:56:16 PM »
Hello all,

A hand from last nights FT your thoughts would be appreciated. ( names and chip size are not exact )

Blinds 4000/8000 with 800 ante, we are not far from next level.

Sourist 94000 ( Seems to just shove a good hand and fold after min raising to decent 3-bet )
Zanaziskis 213000
PLWashy 178000
Adilong1 83000

I"m sat in BB with 55 and Sourist is first to act raises to 24.5k ( they normally either shove or min raise ) folds to me,

What"s my play??

You have 10 bigs, don"t know what the cash jumps are, that might influence my decision, but surely you shove here.

I believe the blinds and antes are 4k/8k/800 in Level 20, so you will lose over 15k every orbit (ie every four hands), if you don"t play a hand. With 10 bigs I"m shoving any pair or any ace at this stage.

Yeah what Ian and Mike said...10 bigs with a pair 4 handed...it"s going in.

Interesting bet size from villain indicates to me that he"s not folding
to your shove so you are, in effect, calling off your chips with 55.
I can find a fold here but would be shoving very light asap.
The harder I work,
The luckier I get.

Thanks people,

I wasn"t really sure with his bet size as like I said it was either min raise or shove, so this bet had me a little wary.
But with ten bigs I felt I had to get it in.
So all in all my shove was correct at the time

Unfortunately he had  Kh Ks sigh..... Move on
