Really looking forward to the pub champs this weekend. This will be my first live poker since the UK team champs last January.

Personal circumstances have conspired against me, though not in a bad way I should add, and have made playing live poker impossible

In the last few months, as well as becoming a Dad, I have also moved house.

I am no longer a resident of Manchester and now live in Clitheroe. It is a gorgeous town in the northern part of East lancashire (though not NE lancashire - I am reliably informed - w/e!!) and is much closer to my new school and much closer to my Wife"s (who had been doing a massive commute for the last 7 years)

Baby Swinebag is doing great and is really <3ing clitheroe too (see what I did there Stew??)

I have also scaled down my online play, but a few decent results and deep runs have convinced me that I can still cut it at this game.

Blackpool is now my local Casino, so I was delighted to step in when Scouse couldn"t make the Pub champs. I feel that the aquarium is the perfect team for me and we intend to take this down.

For those questioning my links to the team, I should point out that my wife once represented Cumbria at a young persons business and enterprise competition, and she had to do her presentation at the Aquarium (Or Shell Sports club as it was called then) so I was the obvious choice ;D ;D ;D

I"m a bit gutted not to be making the friday festivities, especially when I live so close, but I will make up for it over the weekend. Looking forward to meeting up with a load of familiar faces and of course felting Redfern again!! ;D ;D

Clitheroe ? That"s not too far from Amanda and myself... Hmmm, wondering if we can arrange a home game sometime in the future...
